Here is an MP3 recording of 'Embraceable You', played by Steve himself on a recently built S3 arch top.
The recording was made using a Shure M58 microphone with a preamp. All the tone controls are flat. The microphone was positioned about 12 inches away from the strings. It was aimed at a point crossed by the strings and the waist of the body.
